Apple iPhone 4.0.1 software update now available

Dont upgrade, if you have 3.13 leave it alone. Upgrading my 3GS to the new OS totally fucked it up. Speeds are SLOW as SHIT.

updated my 3gs to 4.0.1 and no 3g at all i have to have wifi connection to go on net but was great b4 not happy.this is my second i phone and no way will i have another all the little floors ive hAD WITH THIS ADD UP .

just updated my iphone 3gs to 4.0.1
and i only get 1 or 2 before i got 5 easyly so dropped from 5 to 2 bars this firmware SUCKS and bars looks ugly I’ve never seen 5 bars anymore

Hi I updated my iphone 3Gs to the new 4.0.1 and lost my photos, contacts, mesgs and all the apps I had. Wud not recommend the update at all. It’s pretty crap and I can not express how annoyed I am. I’ve lost signal bars too. Wish I could go back to the previos software. Its a shame that apple is so irresponsible that every update has problem and issues. It sucks!

So pissed, just updated and I have nothing! It won’t even read my SIM card. I’ve been on hold with Apple for the past half hour.

updated to 4.01 great job no probelms at all

Updated to 4.0.1 and had very few issues. Says I have mail when there is nothing there. Trash has similar issues. Phone seems to be running a tad slower as I move around. Not sure if it was worth it for the extra organization of apps and the camera zoom.

Crap!Crap!Crap!Crap!Crap! I can’t browse the web for more than 5 mins before it slowes down so much I can’t use it. It takes forever to launch apps. And I had four dropped calls just YESTERDAY. Crap!

After updating to 4.0.1 my iPhone 3GS was wiped and I lost contacts, messages, events, and application data.
I backed up my phone before the update but when I restored contacts do not come back. People call my blackberry to tell me that my iPhone goes to vm that is not set up while I am holding the damn phone in my hand – and my vm IS set up.Is there any way I can recover this information via XP? Apple is irresponsible – every update has problem and issues. This sucks!

I am SO PISSED I updated my 3GS and I have had nothen bout problems with the contacts, Wifi and Signal. This is not Fair I paid money for these 3 Phones and they don’t work well anymore.

I’m sooo glad I never updated to 4.01 or 4.02, i still got the 4.00

I contacted ATT and told them what was going on and that i was pissed and they had apple call me asap. I have an business account with them. Apple went ahead and upgraded me and my wife free to Iphone 4. I will have it in a couple of days. Anyone that is having a problems call ATT executive office and tell them what problems you are having and they will fix it for you. I have to say ATT and Apple worked together and fixed mine and my wifes problem with the 3GS 4.0.1 update.

Call this lady and tell her. She helped me and my wife. Fix apples software screw up
