We have heard from an AT&T source that the Dell Streak is launching on July 19th on AT&T. We have to ask, would you choose that over the Samsung Captivate?

Why am I not surprised that no Streak today!!! We should all forget about Streak and go for Samsung Captivate instead. By the time Dell release Streak, it will be so out of date anyways. We might as well wait for Streak 2 to come out next year.

I held back from buying the iphone-4 and really glad I did, but was looking forward to this dell streak that never materialized. Who puts out all these twisted rumors having people holding back to make the dell purchase. I’m going on and get the samsung at&t is now offering and should this streak happens to materialize, I’ll just wait til next year when its advanced and truly in the area for public purchase. Its almost like teasing the waiting public, getting their hopes up to a simple let down which makes us then just lose interest in this device.

A tweet from an official Dell twitter account on Friday says that there will be news regarding the US Streak this week.

The “Big news” they are referring to is the “Pre-order” notification website. But still no release date and pricing. What a big disappointment!!! I cannot trust these guys at DellCare or anyone related to Dell anymore. I’m hoping Lenovo or HP will come out with a tablet with phone feature in the future.
