I was hoping that BGR would convert me to iphone fan since i have a amdroid, this would be the best way to get me to convert, but since i never win and did not win this, congrats to the winner. But I think this phone should have gone to someone who does not have a new iphone. I read the winners comment in the contest, and it looked like he did some brown nosing. And not lot of why he deserves to win. Guess BGR liked the brown nosing comment and chose him. Does not matter, he won and thats that. Enjoy your iphone now you can give it to anyone you like Julian since i see you already have one. You mabye make your own give away contest. That be a nice thing to do. I have been a Verizon customer for 11 years, and equally an Apple fan for the same length of time. I want an iPhone on Verizon like it’s my job, because in many ways it is! I use my mobile device for everything, work, school, and most recently taking care of my medical issues (i.e. liaising with doctor’s offices, insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies to get free medicine, etc.) Despite having wanted the iPhone since it came out, I knew I never wanted to switch AT&T. Now that I have been diagnosed, in June 2010, with Chronic Neurological Lyme Disease (an insanely difficult disease that currently has no “cure {IDSA not recognizing it as a long term disease, but other medical communities terrified}), I am constantly in need of a reliable, and smooth OS. I also am on a Gluten-Free Diet and have to monitor my diet in other ways, so the applications in iTunes would be incredibly helpful. At the end of the day, while I would have to say this would be considered a new “toy” for my addiction to new mobile devices, it would change my life for the better, significantly. I’ve already spent over $1,000 on medications this year and I’d estimate close to $5,000-$6,000 in doctor’s visit, because I’m a graduate student in Virginia at JMU earning very little income and have terrible academic health insurance (which still is pricy) and getting a free iPod would make my year! Lastly, my fiancee and I are saving for our wedding in June and have cut back drastically on all expense (including cable!). After a 19 month engagement and 6 years together, you would be making me and my beautiful fiancee equally happy to receive this device. Thank you for your time and consideration.
