A few days ago, Google officially released Android 2.2 (Froyo) Build FRF85 to its army of Nexus One owners. Yesterday, Google began making a small update to 2.2 — labeled with build number FRF91 — available via an over-the-air download. The update, which weighs in at around 2 MB, is labeled as being “security fixes”; no further information is available. If you get the OTA notice on your N1 let us know if you find anything visually different, and if you don’t feel like waiting for the OTA push, you can always grab the files here.Read

Stock n1 on tmo, i got my froyo update this morning…i never did a manual update it went straight to frf91. It did take a while maybe 10min tops for everything to be installed. I left it alone for fear of interrupting the process. Home screen switches are smoother now, and better keyboard seems to work better after update. Trackball colors are enabled, i installed flash 10.1, some apps i was able to move to sd card, video recorder now has option of led flash, wifi tethering appears as an option, i guess thats about it for the most part.minor gui changes for market app. I’m in hawaii, had my nexus since jan. Hope this helps.

Oops i meant it went straight from 2.1 to 2.2, without the frf85 and such in between

All you droid owners can suck on google and htc’s d**k!!! Lets see where to start.. N1 = smooth, light, and nicely curved, thin. Droid = hard, square and pointy, made with cheap plastic. And thats just a start.

My NexusOne has been bricked by the update. I’ve call Google which then passed me on HTC which then said that because it’s been bought from Singapore, there is NO Warranty support. More issues from other users here:

Now my phone even refuses to boot! Pure paper weight right now.

Wow dude, that really, lack of a better word, blows! This is the one thing I am scared of when doing an update. Can’t believe that Google would pass you to HTC. Google’s customer service really sucks ass!
