    • http://simplemobilereview.com Rod

I have SlingPlayer on my Moto Droid running Froyo aka Android 2.2 but it crashes frequently.

  • KimH

My EVO is now complete. Waaaaaaaaaay cool.

  • MiSoFine

Now I just have to get my Nexus One for busted a$$ AT&T since they can’t carry a decent Android…

    • General Zod

I hope you have the unlimited data plan on AT$T or else that could be very expensive.

  • bustafone

If you’re running Froyo you can forget about finding in the Market. Someone needs to upload the apk somewhere.

    • WalterSobchak

I’m running froyo, found it just fine. $29.99

  • bustafone

You must have some secret formula. I’m running Froyo FRF72 on my N1 and it won’t show up no matter what name I put in the search box. Not even when scanning the code with Barcode Scanner.

  • Henri

Yeah I have froyo too and can’t see it on the market. Wtf :-/

  • AlbEagle

    @ Henri

You’re a moron, you can’t even spell your name right.
You have no clue how to use modern technology. ;)

AlbEagle and Henri both are examples of European stupidity..

I am surprised they even have the ability to read this webpage.

    Vafancullo.
What do you know about reading. You probably don’t even live in a city or suburbs.
You probably like in a place named Fauquier County.

you have a windows mobile license this cant be transfered to the Android…
so you will need to pony up another $30
    this is total crap!!!

    • KirkDiggler

I have paid for a winmo, iPhone and am now trying to get it on my Froyo phone. You do understand each of these versions require a new code base and and countless hours to develop? Total crap I don’t think so you can get it on your android device because they can charge for it, otherwise it will be months before it came out

  • wanderer

The iPhone has had Slingplayer for a long time and doesn’t crash.

    • KirkDiggler

It crashed on my iPhone 3GS when it first came out. I got it day one

  • wanderer

@General Zod, yeah that’s the only way to go, unlimited data plan. Nice to see it being ported to android, it comes in pretty handy when you are somewhere and want to catch up with sports.

    • dprk

same here…works flawless on 2.2 and had no problems seeing it in the market

  • DMZ^

Where is the BB Storm 2 Love??? For goodness sake, the Droid just came out and already has SPM. That sucks.

  • Tony

LMAO look at the screen shot SlingPlayer chose! It looks like he’s grabbing himself.

  • mingkee

Why I can’t find it on market?
I use Nexus One with 2.2.

  • PeteyNice

Oh Sling. This almost makes me forget about the crappy Mac client and your $30 fee to get a box replaced under warranty. I wish Hava would get off their asses.

  • petter Griffin

I can’t seem to find sling in market Froyo 2.2 when I flash back to 2.1 I can see it…. I think you have to get ur 2.2 OTA the custom roms r the problem but I don’t know #@$%&!!!
