Apple iPhone 4 not available for purchase in AT&T stores on 24th, starting 29th?

We have heard from multiple sources that only starting June 29th will iPhone 4s be available for walk-in purchases at AT&T stores.

Apparently you can also reserve and place orders for the device on the 29th, but there won’t be any option to buy or reserve/order an iPhone 4 until the 29th.

    I am irritated that people are able to walk into a store and get an iphone 4, yet I, who pre-ordered, and have only received half my order of 2 phones, am still without my 32 GB iphone.

    I called AT&T about it and they told me that the 32 GB model is on back order and they don’t know when the order will be filled. They are also very rude on the phone. I’m pretty much stuck though and am a little mad at myself for switching from Verizon, whom I’ve been very happy with, to go to AT&T for the iphone. Lesson learned.

    I am amazed by the all sniveling, snot-nosed children that must have their new toy NOW! Get a grip! Sure, you may not be the first moron on the block to be able to show off their shiny new iPhone. I suspect you may feel better about yourself because you were the first to have one, but really, is the sky falling? Here, practice: Breath in. Breath out. (repeat)
