Dell offering HTC Aria for $0

General

Aria Dell Free

What’s better than buying an HTC Aria from AT&T for $129.99? How about buying it from Dell for $0. Dell is offering the HTC Aria, on contract, for $0 and a free activation and free shipping. Sweet. If you’ve got a hankering for Android, and are an AT&T customer, hit up the read link and check out the deal for yourself.

Thanks, Michael F.!

UPDATE: The deal is only for customers opening a “new AT&T account.” Not nearly as attractive as we had originally thought.

UPDATE 2: After much speculation Dell’s PR team has let us know that, “the current pricing for the HTC Aria at Dell and Wirefly.com is free for new and existing AT&T customers.”

Not even without a contract, free phone, and free service would you ever get ME on AT&T.

    • dfresh

I like my AT&T coverage. I never drop calls and I get super fast 3g service where I spend the most of my time. Too bad not all cities/areas can experience this.

      • MONOPOLY MAN

How much is AT&T paying you for your PR position?

      • Pau

A real PR person would never admit flaws in the company and it’s services…

      • dfresh

So, because I have great coverage where I am, that makes me an AT&T lobbyist? By your reasoning, one can assume you are either paid off by Verizon or a douche! Take your pick!

    • Joe

That’s the dumbest logic I’ve ever seen. AT&T may not be the best, but I call bullshit that you’d pass up saving possibly a couple hundred $$ every month and still have cell service.

    • Carmen

I’m with Joe. This was a foolish comment. Plus, I’d be ecstatic to free AT&T because it simply has the best coverage where I live and visit on a daily basis.

  • Desreil

It says with a NEW att account.

  • Scorp

It’s still free. When you select renew/upgrade on the site you still get the free price.

  • whoareu

With a 2 year contract kids. Don’t get crazy

  • Rick

They told me the only way to get this on the family plan was to upgrade my family line to the next level. No deal.

  • iphone 3gs

does anyone knows when the ios4 software upgrade comes available?

    Posted from BGR Mobile (iPhone).

    • Jay

At some time today. Nobody knows when exactly.

  • Brad ATT

Finally a reasonable Android phone from ATT! I just ordered mine for Free. I know this isn’t a high end Android device, as not all of us need a super powered cell phone. Just nice to see an option for once

  • yea

its crazy how if i go to an att store the phone is 180 with a 50 rebate and a 36 activation fee. thats 216 bucks. how much att pay dell to sell one phone? must be a lot more than the 5 dollar commision they pay the rep in their stores……interesting how that works.

  • Not Me

I should switch to At&t and NOT get an iPhone just to be a dick to all the Apple fanboys.

    • Carmen

WOW!!! So many people would care and you’d be super-cool.

  • Blue

It’s $50 bucks at Amazon Wireless.

  • sick of being ripped off

The company selling these phones are well known shysters that have lobbiests in Washington DC. They have been known as Wirefly when they ripped me off for a rebate, now they go by Simplexity and try to reel you in with unbelievable offers. And then bait and switch.
Oh, no you can’t get that phone for free unless you up your monthly rate, never mind that my data will increase $15/mo and am already paying for unlimited text messaging. If the offer looks too good to be true, it usually is.

  • Seabass

I picked mine up at ATT store and I love this cute little thing but I still miss my keyboard on the BB 9700.

  • Jack

You have to select a 900 anytime minutes plan ($59.99/mo), or unlimited plan ($69.99/mo). I’m an existing customer, looking to keep my 450 minute ($39.99/mo) plan…not possible with this offer. Of course these numbers don’t include data or messaging features.

Monopoly man, you have terrible grammar you fuck tard.
