Barnes & Nobile probably felt confident that its knocking $50 off the price of the Nook and introducing a Wi-Fi only model at $149.99 was really going to really stick it to the Kindle for at least a few days, but then BAM! Amazon responds in kind by slashing the price of the Kindle 2 by $70. That’s right, ladies and gentlemen. Capitalism at its finest.

Capitalism is EVIL. The only reason this happened is because of new regulation we are introducing in congress. Everyone knows you can’t trust the free markets to regulate themselves.

I’m going to pass an E-Book reader law that mandates all readers be sold for $49.99 to select households. There will be a $300 E-Book reader tax if you make more than $24,000 a year.

This is the way markets should function… FAIRLY.

As long as Amazon retains the ability to remove purchased product from your Kindle without your consent, I will never buy one.

Hey, maybe next time you’ll do some proofreading before you publish.

If I had to choose between the Kindle and Nook, Nook wins for the Android for its possibility of expansion and adding feature.

Have they improved the Nook’s performance yet? I played with one in a store when they first came out and it was super laggy and unpleasant to use.

I love how the refurbished and used ones are more expensive than the new :) )
