PlayStation Move: $49.99 on September 19th

The wait for the PlayStation Move is finally over. Well, almost. Today at E3, Sony announced that the PlayStation move will be launching in North America on September 19th. This launch will be preceded by Europe on the 19th and followed by Japan on the 21st of October. The Move itself will retail for $49.99 with the navigation controller going for an extra $29.99. A PlayStation Move Sports Champions bundle will be available for $99.99 and includes a Move, Eve and a copy of Sports Champion. For those that don’t have a PlayStation, a bundle which includes the PS3, Move, Eye and navigation controller, and Sports Champions for $399.99. 15 to 20 titles will be available at launch and will retail for $39.99 each. By Christmas, Sony is expecting to have 40 titles in its catalog.

      Ain’t going to happen. The Move controller is the only 1:1 motion control device. Nintendo’s old Wiimote can’t handle Move type games.

      Until Nintendo catches up with Sony and releases a true 1:1 device Nintendo is stuck with the silly flail your arm casual games they currently have for the Wii.

    So the navigation controller is sold separately? You don’t need it with the Move itself? Seems like selling the console without any game pads. Am I wrong on this?

    I cant say i wont at least try it but this honestly looks pretty lame. There are some Wii games that i was cool with but mostly stuff that used the gun. This doesnt seem to even have that option

    I think it’ll be pretty cool! Yeah the controller looks like a big lollipop, but the precision and ability to use two controls will make up for it. The games look fantastic!
