Motorola's Droid X gets a thorough hands on

Whoops. Looks like Motorola and Verizon’s corporate security team will be busier than normal tonight, as Engadget has posted a thorough hands on with the highly-anticipated smartphone. We don’t want to steal anyone’s thunder, but let’s just say the screen is even larger than previously thought and that the processor is ever faster. Hit the jump for a couple more pics, then head on over to Engadget to check out what is surely to be Verizon’s darling for many months to come.

    so very happy to see verizon give HTC a big fat middle finger by taking on motorola. hopefully all the other carriers will follow suit until HTC gets its touchscreens working straight. the heck with a company that builds gimmicky smartphones that look good and yet have lousy borderline dysfunctional touchscreens and lousy cameras…….HTC ruined the desire, N1, and the EVO.

    i feel that the droid x will be a good sturdy phone just like the original droid. go moto!

    I work for Sprint, but I have a Droid. And will be getting the X next month. The EVO is just a big ass Hero w/ a slightly better touchscreen. I love my Droid & will most likely love the X even more.

    Dude what is up with no front facing camera on this thing?! i wanted this so bad because i liked using fring on my android. really bumbed
