Want to know what was not found within the GM release candidate of iOS 4? Patched vulnerabilities which make jailbreaking an iPhone painfully simple. msftguy, a man known as a bit of a fixer-upper in the jailbreaking scene, has released a custom bundle for PwnageTool that allows anyone to jailbreak their iPhone 3Gs with the iOS 4 GM candidate. What’s more, the jailbreak preserves the baseband so it’s possible to unlock your iPhone right after freeing it from Apple’s shackles. If you’ve got an iPhone 3GS and have a means of getting the GM release candidate — not to mention know exactly what you’re doing — jump the bump and hit up the read file.       U can actually trim the normal SIM to MicroSIM size and it’ll work

    I hope they will also get an unlock working as well. Jailbreak and unlock my 3G, sell on craigslist and buy iPhone 4. Sounds good to me!

    well, having already jailbroken IOS4 means less pain for those who are using iPhone 3GS baseband 5.12.1. as this particular bundle will preserve the Baseband. Half of the thing is done now how to unlock device will be the next question, and world will be asking for it as well

    Apple has no plans to squash jailbreaking. They got alot of what’s coming on the phone now from the jailbreak community.

    Can’t wait for the new phone. Early upgrade time!
