HTC Intruder coming to AT&T, but what is it?

Here’s a fun little conundrum for you. A mysterious new Android handset from HTC  – the Intruder — has shown up in the internal inventory system at The Shack, and appears to be destined for life with AT&T. But what is it? Apparently there’s a good chance it’s the Liberty aka Aria, a handset we know to contain HTC’s Sense UI, 3.5″ display and 5 megapixel camera. It’s listed as $700 full retail and $130 on a 2-year deal which seems to be a bit on the expensive side…but let’s be honest, people on AT&T who are dying for Android will pay just about anything for whatever they can get.

If it’s HTC, and it’s android and has at least 2.1 to start and at least a 1GHz processor then I’m in.

Really people – I get great signal strength here in Dallas area and have no compalints about ATT with the exception of lack of choices of Android phone (other than backflip phone). I also am grandfathered in with unlimited data plan as that is what I have currently with my blackberry.

What of Dell Aero that was suppoed to come out 2Q?
Anyone know if ATT will be announcing anything about Android phones at WWDC about Android?

    Many thanks.

I sure hope so, those turds promised us 5 Android phones by the end of the first half of 2010. They’ve released one, so that leaves them with 22 days to release the Aero and 3 HTC phones.

Honestly, I don’t think they’ll make their own deadline. However, I will be content with an announcement of what’s to come. The one thing that really kills me about ATT is that they’re so secretive about their future handsets. It’s infuriating having to guess which phones we’ll be seeing, then being let down time and time again.

Well, we should have at least 3 by the middle of the year, well 4, unless the Streak is out around August.

        -Backflip
        -Aero
        -Aria/Liberty/Intruder
        -Streak (?)

It’s a Piece of crap in other words POS. That’s what it is. And still no word on HTC Desire Or Legend if neither coming to AT&T. I’m getting very fed up with AT&T when My upgrade is available.

I bought the Aria and I love it! It has voice to text for messaging so you don’t even have to type the message.

The box it came in says Aria, the battery compartment shows HTC Intruder, and the internal phone setup shows it is a HTC Liberty!
