It’s no secret that carriers like AT&T, Sprint and Verizon have no little faith they’ll be able to snap up a slew of new subs with webOS handsets, but that isn’t stopping them from releasing them. Over the weekend the Palm Pixi Plus went on sale with AT&T. At $50 on contract, the Pixi Plus is a third of the price of its sibling the Pre Plus, but that’s a small amount to pay for the joy sticking out in a sea of Android, Apple and BlackBerry smartphones.

I’ll get the pixie or pre on AT&T if the new iPhone isn’t that great, but the new iPhone foxing to be badass.

Horrible phone. I wouldn’t use one (again) if they paid me $50 and no contract. People are so bored with iPhone os and blackberry that they are brainwashed into thinking webos is any good. Oh sure it has it’s good points but overall it’s overrated. I think it might work ok on a tablet but on a phone. Meh.

@Foneaddict Your comment is BS. WebOS is a great mobile OS. Best out there so far. Palm missed the boat with the hardware and advertising. All of the fanboys want phones with bigger screens and 1Ghz processors. I think everyone would line up around corners for a 5 inch WebOS device with a 1.5 Ghz processor.
