I’m pretty sure bgr’s picture reference is like saying the iPhone 3G is shot. Done. All over Johnny. Stick a fork in it. Bye bye.

I wonder if AT&T will allow 3g iphone users to upgrade early to the new iphone or the 3gs since we still won’t be able to get multi-tasking even after the release of 4.0? Can’t wait to see what AT&T will do with this one just like their new data pricing. Anyone check out how much data they really do use? I’m way over the 200 gb pricing. What a joke. Unlimited data all the way.

If you read forums like this and haven’t figured out the 3G was on its way out, like 6 months ago, I feel sorry for you.

I’m sure you mean 200MB… If you use 200GB, then you deserve to pay the price under the new plans.

    IPhone 3G created a monster market…Droid Does..

I will never dealing with AT&T again E V E R either they open it to Verizon or I’m jumping to a Droid.

what does your comment have to do with the article? Nothing -

If you think Verizon is much better, good luck with that.

      • CMUBigboy

Sprint is better on value and price. And with the introduction of a lot of recently good phones, and likely the iPhone by the end of the year, will begin growing market share over Verizon and AT&T.

They should have stopped selling that slow piece of crap two years ago.

Great phone, iPhone is the definition of smartphone.

  • JJFNIGHTS80

You should say AT&T stop selling 8GB iPhone 3GS. not iPhone cause not too many people aren’t going to buy the 32GB probably the 16GB now theirs no more 8GB.

U can actually buy one Refurbished if u look a site..

Andrew, when the 3Gs came out last year AT&T allowed customers who were close to upgrade to get it early at no extra cost. It was highly successful so I doubt they wouldn’t allow that again this year. Hopefully we will all know more after WWDC.

3G model is the only model the is jailbreakable, since the introduction of 3GS the hackers cant jailbreak it, UNLESS you got 3GS when it first came out and followed a very specific upgrade path that included backing up certain files, etc… too much crap! :(

so I will be sad to deactivate my jailbroken 3G in favor to the new iphone 4… please dev team figure out a way to hack the new hardware!
