We have a hard time imaging that AT&T’s Pixi Plus will be met with as much fanfare as its Sprint, or even Verizon, counterparts (yes, we are being cheeky).     Man I hope HP keeps developing webOS. The Pre was a good starting flagship but the Pixi sucks as a supporting device. Let’s see some landscape sliders with webOS!!!

    Any idea when it’s expected to be released? If it’s cheap enough to buy outright I wouldn’t mind picking one up to occasionally throw my SIM into and experiment with webOS.

      Yeah, I wanted to do the same. It’s too old to reup another two with AT&T, but I’d snatch one up for the right price.

    June 6th. This is the perfect second phone. I really dont feel like taking my big phone with a 4.X” screen to the bar, club, festival i.e. anywhere with people en masse. Instead I plan on popping my SIM into this sexy thing which still has an awesome OS, browser and keyboard. The Sprint and Verizon versions are selling for ~$200 outright on eBay, hopefully these will too.

    It comes out this Sunday. Full retail should be $299 and it’s $50 after rebate with a 2 yr agreement.

    Why is ATT even bothering with these phones. While I think Web OS has potential, this line just needs to go away. The Pre has the WORST battery life I have ever seen in a smartphone and I can’t imagine the Pixi’s being much better. Palm deserved to tank if this was the best they could do.

    To the average consumer who doesn’t look at this site, and there are millions, they will think this phone is the greatest.

    If you haven’t used WebOS…..give it a try. You’ll quickly feel the lack of intuition on your Android or the yawner OS which is iphone.
