Slightly ahead of schedule, the folks at iFixit are back with another on of their famous teardowns, this time focusing on the HTC EVO 4G. Taking apart the Android Wunderkind proved to be a breeze, which is no doubt a good thing as it means any unfortunate soul that happens to damage their phone won’t have too hard of a time repairing it all by their self. There’s a whole wealth of photos and technical information about chipsets and industrial design that are sure to get your nerd juices a-flowin’, so hit up iFixit for the rest of the pics.

      you know what i just got a HTC incredible on tuesday i was going to get an iphone but then i found a moto droid and fell in love. i bought incredible to test it out this thing is crazy i can download free mixtape right to my phone of the web can’t do that with the iphone no way droid does is so true

    This phone’s hardware aided by the Android OS Froyo will put the iphone to shame, especially when it works on a 4G platform.

    iPhone fanboys will try to do their darnest to belittle what HTC has done with the Evo, however their master Mr. Jobs knew it couldn’t emulate the Evo so he sued HTC. Proof of which will be apparent when the new iPhone is introduced. I can’t wait for head to head match up on Utube. The iPhone and ATT vs the Evo and Sprint.

    That is a 16gb microSD card in the pic. The Evo is supposed to ship with 8 gig cards. I hope they make that mistake when I pick my Evo up on Friday!

    The same idiots who a year ago thought the Palm Pre would put the iPhone out to pasture. No device will. Ever. It’s not the apps, it’s the ecosystem. 2mm ipads, iTunes etc. They’ve geniusly made it all too easy for people that want the benefits of tech but don’t care a lick about the shit techies do/need/hack etc. I would say wake up but fact is you know the reality, just like to deny it and bash Apple.

      i don’t think any company will beat apple but it will make apple work for there title and for them to stay on top i hope that android does well it better for all of us cause the products that fight for the top spot the cheaper it becomes for all of us.

    Finally a unique thought/way to combat the “I don’t have an iPhone” complex. Kudos SERO Leech. The network is abysmal. When it finally gets to Verizon, it will account for at least 1/2 of all phone sales in the US. ATT is so God awful it has actually given an ounce of credence to the iPhone and Apple haters.

    Well I had a 3gs went to the hero its okay lv the sense UI but after seeing the iPhone 4 and the evo I’m getting the evo for sure I like the iPhone but the evo has better specs and looks so much better I believe the evo will out do the i4 but this is from my opion after playing with both models plus I can make a call on sprints network and there way cheaper don’t have to sell my kids to keep Sprint
