The specs do not match up with the other phones on the Market, why bother even introducing this.OH Ya First

More junk for use on the on the over-rated over-priced network.

    • Mitch

I think you mean the #1 network.

      GTFO of here.

      • Celz

No Im pretty sure he meant the network that rips you off.. I would rather save money than say my cellular corporations makes more money than yours.. The Big Four are too big to go away, if Sprint and T-mo go bk they will get bought out by another company that will be forced to use the same marketing strategy and the same tech just like palm.. Point is I will pay less for the same, arguably better, service than you get regardless of how these companies perform.. And just so you know Sprint and VZW don’t give two shits about any of us,,

I could save money and go to Sprint any time. But then I would have unusable signal that refuses to drop and pickup Verizon to roam. I’ll pay the extra $$ to actually be able to use my phone not hold papers down with it…

What did LG do? Forget they were working on this? should have been released 6 months ago.

    • fiddlemania

6.5.3 wasn’t out 6months ago. This is the ONLY device in the nation with this updated version of WinMo.

  • Quinton

Does anyone think this will b upgradeable to windows phone 7?

    Posted from BGR Mobile (iPhone).

    • SoCaller

By definition no 6.5 phone is upgradeable to 7.

  • warhed

Looks OK. The specs aren’t bad either. I would rather wait for WP7, or better get the HD2!

  • BLANK

I think I know why this phone is being released because verizon has only 1 good phone the droid, they really need to get new phones

  • Brant

the headline made me laugh.. it was hard to fathom

  • LeQuinte

Nice phone, but a non-upgradeable OS isn’t gonna get it. Might as well get the one of the Droids/Blackberry devices

    • Celz

Thanks to XDA and the like WinMo is the MOST upgradeable OS lol..

    • Mik

I kind of expect MS will release a update or two yet to the old WM line.

This an the Expo are decent upgrade paths/carry overs for many TP and TP2 owners.

      This is good jam.

  • shawn

And…this is a fail by LG. I hope I don’t see ne one with this phone lol

    • Mik

      You don’t have anything faster.

      Fail.

  • Meatsicle.

I have had this phone for the last few months, I got it pretty much around launch day from my work and it fugging sucks as an internet/email device. The lag is unbelievable and it freezes whenever I try to do anything advanced on it. But, it gets incredible signal and voice quality and gets signal in some crazy places where other phones don’t work at all. So, to stay in touch the device rocks; but to get any advanced functionality the device is paralyzed by WINMO 6.5. If it had android…whoa the thing would be SIIIIIICK!!!
