- Quickly start your favorite applications with one tap: the status bar appears as an innovative divider between logical spaces. It shows all the essential information, providing shortcuts to most frequently used settings and its position allows a very easy access to the settings or notifications.

- Easily switch applications with the History panel: the top part of the Home screen has been dedicated to applications history, with the benefit of reducing complexity and providing significant cues for navigation.

- Reorder applications across several pages at their convenience: Apps can be moved around from one page to another or easily uninstalled by simply dragging them to the bin.

- Customize the phone according to specific needs:a simple customization page accessible from the Home screen will be a pleasant surprise, enabling customers to tailor their smartphone through wallpaper and sound personalization.

Coupled with three types of predictive keyboards, a smart dialer and a redesigned contacts list, the Acer user interface makes using the smartphone an efficient and delightful experience.

    • Andrew Munchbach

I hope someone in the marketing department got uninvited to the company Christmas party for “Liquid Stream”

The original name of the device was Golden Shower. It was actually supposed to be made of gold. Liquid Stream was a step up from that.

        Just kidding.

      • OnceUponAtime

Golden shower? Am I the only one who got this? lol.. +1

  • Mr. Incredible

Oh god the “It’s no Iphone” comments have already started. come on lets talk about this specific phone, the one the article is reporting. Just for one second, please!

    • StevenGlansburg

well Acer failed to innovate beyond that, so they deserve it.

Honestly i dont know, not like the buttons at the bottom of the phone. But the GUI is something i have wanted to see on an android phone since my g1. I currently have a Nexus one(aka iphone4g killer, yea i said it what of it?) Any who i would probably trade in my nexus for this phone if it was to come to TMO-US.

  • acer_liquid

Needs Android Froyo 2.2, get rid of Acer’s crapware, keep the price reasonable and it would be a good phone.

    • http://none jmotyka

      It will be getting 2.2!

  • Vinny

Android is taking over. T-Mobile, here’s another top quality phone that hopefully you will jump on. I’m going to go Android soon I think, I want to stay with T-Mobile, I also want a very high powered phone, not a middle of the road phone like the slide you are bringing in.You need a high end Android phone for the customers like me who want the best.

And you would still be complaining even if they reported it as soon as it came out. Seriously. Not everyone is keeping up with news on every device release. Hell, I didn’t even know this came out until I saw it on BGR; I actually have two businesses to run.

So, really, dude, take a breather. Smile. Go lick something proper. And go elsewhere if this site isn’t your flavor.

  • Mack Simmons

Why respond if you are so unconcerned about my thoughts? Thou protest too much. Again, take a breather, lick something proper and read another blog. Solves your problem. Have a nice day.
