iphone-os-4.0

Whether you’re a genuine iPhone developer or someone who just paid $10 to have someone add your iPhone’s UDID to their developer account, you should be pleased to note that Apple has just released iPhone OS 4.0 beta 4. No changelog has been release, but just like the last time, we’ll be back if we spot any substantial changes.

Ok, so I’m pretty sure the major blogs know whether or not the iphone will be available on more than one US network this summer. Lets hear it…

screw apple.. i want flash.. and I dont need a mommy

I like apple products, but I do disagree with some of their decisions. Can’t flash and HTML5 co-exist with each other? why can’t you freaking buy an Ipad with cash or even a giftcard? Just heard a sad story about a lower income woman who wanted an iPad, saved up for it and took her money to the apple store and was told she could’t purchase it with cash. It has to be with a credit card or a debit card. That is the first time I’ve heard of a company with such stringent buying rules on a product. That woman went home dejected, after saving up months for it.

i bought mine with cash from best buy.

Nice, maybe that was an Apple Store policy. Good to know that and hopefully more folks can just do the Best Buy route then.

Sorry, is there a cell phone that runs Flash that you can buy today? No? So why is this even an issue at all?

      • Derek

Well android 2.2 will be released this week or next week and it’s going to have Flash 10.1 support. So today, no. but next week, yes.

most nokia phones from 2008 and up run flash lite natively without installing anything

thats the reason iphone had this success, because they do everything but they kinda suck at doing it.

Great…. another 2+ GB to download the new SDK… heaven forbid Apple modularizes their SDK versions to make updates easier.

I still have my Nokia N95 8 gb that ran flash on Opera And Skyfire, but not smoothly. My remarks were actually more for the Ipad than the iPhone. I may be wrong on this, but I think the N900 maemo5 can run flash with Mobile Firefox and that’s considered a new cell phone.

iphone cant run flash because adobe wants to charge apple a fee for every time it is used. well apple isn’t paying them millions just so we can watch a video on the web..
