What, just because there is a piece of black plastic at the top,  you thought we weren’t going to do this? We have a brand new Apple iPad Wi-Fi + 3G in hand, and of course, have photographed the unboxing just for you. Early impressions? The 3G integration is pretty slick with all you need to configure and purchase your prepaid data plans built right in, plus there is that oh-so-adorable micro-SIM card slot on the side.     I played with the iPad @ the local Best Buy for 20 minutes and concluded its not for me for moment. My wife wants it even though I tried convincing her that the iTouch was a better for her. She’ll be getting one for Mother’s Day, she deserves it for giving me three beautiful kids.

    Also, very disappointed that Microsoft killed the Courier, it wont sell the same numbers as the iPad but it would be a huge image booster.

    im interesting to get this since hp slate and courier are both dead. the price is keeping me from buying, i guess i’ll wait for a while. maybe hpslate with WebOS?? ihave no idea.

    I’ve been playing around with my iPad 64gb/3g all day, and I couldn’t be more disappointed.

    I already have an iPad 64gb/Wifi that I tether to my Verizon Palm Pre Plus, so I was expecting a somewhat more cohesive experience with my iPad 3g, but that is hardly the case.

    Everything (3g related) is slower on the iPad/3g, stupid AT&T won’t even allow the ABC app to work, and all YouTube and Netflix videos are down-sampled to the point that they look like stir-fried crap!

    This Is Seriously Ridiculous!

      How does the iPad Wifi model work with your Palm Pre Plus? I got the Pre Plus for the same reason. Is it worth it? Thanks.
