What is this mysterious MOTOBLUR handset?

We don’t believe the story about how this leak came to be, but we do believe the above picture of an unannounced and unnamed Motorola Android smartphone is genuine. The folks over a DroidDog were sent in the pic of the square QWERTY slider by someone whose “buddy’s dad works for Motorola and let his son take the phone to school, who, in turn, lent the phone to [a friend] to be used as a calculator on a math test.” (Riiiight…) So far there’s nothing much to report other than it is alleged to be running Android 2.1 with MOTOBLUR thrown in for good measure, but we imagine we’ll be seeing more pictures over the coming weeks as the flood gates are now open.
