About those upcoming Verizon phones…

Exclusive

verizon-devices

We haven’t been able to independently verify this in any way, but nonetheless we thought we’d share it with everyone as it makes a lot of sense. One our of Verizon connects hit us up last night and let us know what they’ve heard are five of the six upcoming handsets VZW was teasing about yesterday: the HTC Incredible, LG VS750, Microsoft’s “Pure” and “Turtle” and the Samsung Reality. As we mentioned, our connect isn’t sure what the sixth is, but we’re guessing it could be either the BlackBerry Bold 9650 or even Verizon’s Google Nexus One. Anyone hear otherwise?

Thanks, VZW!

The question becomes…do I stick with Verizon and get the Incredible or do I jump ship and get the Evo 4g??

    • Que???

Unless you are in a 4G area I’d stick with the Incredible…but still…the Evo is sweet.

*side note* you may have to pay extra with the inital 4G roll out on your data plan just FYI

would you really give “4G” at Sprint a shot? Wi-Max is fine, as long as you don’t actually want to ever use it anywhere… I say stick with Big Red.

Can’t wait for the Incredible … it will be my ticket off the “Have an X instead of Signal Bars” experience that I have had with AT&T.

All these phones & none can compare to the iPhone. Nice try though…

I have to respectfully disagree. I personally prefer the Android OS over the iPhone OS. It’s all a matter of opinion. I have the Droid and could not imagine switching from Android 2.1 to iPhone 3.1.2(?).

you have obviously never turned on your iPhone to see what a hunk of garbage it is compared to the newer technology. Apply has gouged you for years by holding back technology and making you pay for it… and you repay them with your loyalty… AWESOME!

the iphone was the best at one time….it set the bar..thats just not the case anymore..

When are the Android world-phones coming to Verizon? Motorola has a decent one (XT800), but is only selling it in China, and crippled per the Chinese carrier request

Go to AndroidForums.com, go to the Incredible thread and you can download the user guide.

I’ve tried a Droid and Eris and returned both of them. I just got a Palm Pre Plus because of the free mobile hotspot and figured I’d give it 30 days to find why I hate it. WebOS, I’m quite surprised to say, is great. That doesn’t mean I won’t return it to give the Incredible it’s 30 day review but I might end up coming back to it.

My “Trusty Ninja” inside Verizon said that the 6 phones are the “Tired Of Rumors”, “Had Enough Of Rumors”, “Stop Spreading Rumors”, This Is Just A Rumor”, “Rumor Is”, and last but not least “This Is Just A Rumor”. I’m really excited about the relese of these phones!

I just spoke to our account manger, and he mentioned that he was toying around with a N1 , and the incredible, and he said they were both amaziing devices. So of course my first questions was ” is the N1 going to be available in the store , or through google?” And to my surpise and delight. His answer was yes!! He said the only down side is the phones are high cost, so therefore they will be a higher cost, with an activation/upgrade on vzw. But there we go he answered the question weve all been dying to know. just a side note he said he enjoyed the INCREDIBLE much more than the nexus 1. so there you herd it first. and no im not pulling this out of my ass. im being 100 percent legitmite…… N1 here i come. .. .. or incredible :)

Are you sure you got the 5 phones off your Verizon contact or from another blog. I read this story 24 hours ago off OZCAR where they predicted the 6 phones:

I emailed them the 7th you idiot. Read what they said:

“One our of Verizon connects hit us up last night”

That link you posted was released on the 8th.

Perfect excuse for not buying a new phone. I would say, I will wait until this phone comes. When the phone comes, I would say, I will wait until everyone has tested it and have given a good review. When everything is well and good … well Verizon would announce another one, and I would say, I will wait until this phone comes.
