Apple iPad giveaway!

What, you thought we’d leave our favorite people in the world high and dry? Not a chance. It’s a pretty big release date with the Apple tablet finally making it to retail status, and there’s not a better way to celebrate that. We have an Apple iPad to giveaway, and it’s a Wi-Fi 64GB model, too! Here are the official rules:

  • The giveaway is for (1) Apple iPad device (Wi-Fi model, 64GB, approximate retail value: $699).
  • The contest is open to anyone in the United States ages 18 and older.
  • We’ll run the giveaway until one week from now, April 10th at 11:59PM ET.
  • All you have to do to enter is leave a comment explaining why you think you should win — that’s it!

    I’m not really deserving of a free ipad. I’m sure there is tons of others who are less fortunate than me and really deserve an ipad. But I really really want one, and don’t want to spend the money on it. But I wouldn’t mind a free one.

    I want to win this iPad to stay in touch with my friends and family this summer. I got accepted into an academic program where I will be traveling around Greece this summer. My laptop bit the dust last month, and international phones and calls get expensive, so I thought if I had and iPad (which is conveniently small for traveling) I could still email home and such. I would buy it for myself, but I am sitting on a mountain of loans and there is no possible way I can work more without jeopardizing my academics and sanity.

    I think I should win the iPad because I have been planning to get my daughter, and promised to get her one. But with the bad market, I don’t think I’ll be able to do that!
