Black and White 9700

For those BlackBerry users who refuse to sport black after Memorial Day, salvation is on the way. A white BlackBerry 9700, complete with a black track-button-nose, is currently visible on RIM’s Thai website. The addition of white to the Bold 9700 family is no surprise, as RIM debuted a pale version of the Bold 9000 several months after launch. Here at BGR, we are huge fans of Cheetos®, and for that reason alone, a white anything is out of the question. How about you? Does a white 9700 with a black nose pique anyone’s interests?

    Not really, would like other colors like bronze or red, possibly orange (that would be awesome). Otherwise why not a gray or a pearl metallic white, not plan white, so boring.

    I think its a good idea Rim is launching other colors. Especially since there now in the consumer space of handsets. I hate to say I’ve been hearing BB users switching platforms… But this is aready available through Truesupplier.com along with other colors. i got a blue keyboard, caseing and track pad. Its awesome on mine

    Verizon’s/Sprint 9560 will be called the bold 9650 and will come out in May. but with the white blackberry bold 9700 I wonder if AT

    any confirmation if this is for ATT OR T-MOBILE?!?! i hope t-mobile…since they were the first and maybe only to get the white pearl which i LOVED!

      Actually AT&T got the BOLD collection first. Just because T-Mobile for the second one and AT&T immediatly got it afterwards, doesnt mean you guys are getting it this time. I really hate how the Bold is just for AT&T but now gross T-Mobile and even grosser Verizon. What has happened to the BlackBerry world?

    Black. Do you guys have any idea how hot black things get in the sun?

    I don’t buy them for that reason alone. I go outside. I answer call. Black heats up stupidly absorbing sun’s rays on the part of the phone I have not covered with my hand. Lithium-Ion batteries do not like heat.

    White for me. Good to see. Not that I have my eye on a WhiteBerry anytime soon, but it’s so much more preferable than black to me.

    Dirt? If you’re that dirty, you shouldn’t really be touching your phone.

    While I’m at it, bring back beige computer boxes. Superior to drab black.

    My daughter has a i phone and I love it but the ATT service doesn’t work at my house. What is the next best phone?
    I have an old blackberry now but its internet service is awful and my contract is up. I would really appreciate any advice. I am a Realtor and use my phone for both work and pleasure. Need internet, GPS, contact list and address book mainly. Would love to do other things but those are a must.

    A white BlackBerry? That’s actually pretty nice, and agreed that lighter colors don’t heat up as much as darker colors. Anyways, ignoring the color for a second, the BlackBerry is still a very nifty tool for both work and pleasure, so it’s all good in the end.
