    • Eeyore

      I sure as hell don’t.

  • Igor

is this site going to report every time Jobs burps? I wonder how much Apple pays them for advertising…

seriously, do you have any clue how much android news we report on? i think the last 4 weeks have been a constant cycle of android-related articles. suck it up, or better yet, go away.

in case you need a refresher:

      http://www.bgr.com/category/android

      • elijahblake

actually 7 of the last 13 articles were Apple related… And the thing is, Android constantly has new products coming out.. Not just minor variations of a 4? year old product

      • elijahblake

not to mention 75% of Android you do report on is negative….

      • iT&T

and 99% of all reporting on tropical rainforests is wet and hot.

and 99% of all reporting on gangster rappers involves crime.

and 99% of all stock market reports involve numbers.

You aren’t implying BGR is bias are you?!

That would mean they’re no different than any other media outlet!

        ZOH NOES

      • Deeznut

Hell BGR wouldnt know the stats on whats been reported on. Most of the stuff is copy and pasted from Engadget. Boy Genius works at Food Lion during the day as a bag boy.

Hey B.G. This sounds very appleish and im not a fan, but I think if you required people to register it would help. people use our names and say vile things, we change it and sooner or later they do it again. Im an open source kind of guy, but this site could use a little lockdown lol.

      • StevenGlansburg

I maybe the only one who recognizes that BGR is not biased. If anything I have felt they talked to much about the Droid back when that was coming out, but in all honesty I keep coming back here because they seem to vary it up and are realistic with their analysis most of the time. Like it or not the Apple is what is popular and in particular the iphone is the king of phones STILL. Android is making process, but It’s probably safe to say more than 50% of readers or even potential readers want iphone news.

      • Google1

Steven, you are such a suck up lol. I never agree with you much, but you sure are entertaining. this site would be boring without ya..

      • Google1

        6 on this page alone

    • DaJe’ J. BarbouR

      apple is the shit retard

    • graphisounder

Some of us developers make apps for both Android and iPhone. OS wars suck, dude.

  • The drizzle

Not even a damn picture, this article sucks

  • ALHC

All you haters on Apple and BGR need to grow up just like its not all about Iphone apple or Mac stuff it should not be all about ANDROID

  • Hopshock

Trolls will be Trolls. Keep it up BGR.

  • iBold

iPhone OS 3.2 is only for the iPad … no iPhone or iPod Touch support …

and if you don’t like what’s on BGR … then don’t visit the site. It’s a tech blog (one of the hundreds out there) and the benefit of that is you can get different information. If you think this is “all Apple/iPhone” information then mark it as such and come here when you want to know something about Apple and find another website to visit for other news.

    • graphisounder

      No it’s not.

You can toggle whether you want to dev for the iPhone or the iPad.

      This Android/iPhone developer knows that…

      • iBold

For development, yes … but i figured this line:

“Note: iPhone OS 3.2 does not support iPhone and iPod touch devices. It runs only on iPad.”

…meant you couldn’t actually run the ipsw on the iPhone. I could be wrong … haven’t tried to install yet

  • LAWL

Remember that show “Not Necessarily The News”? I loved that show.

It was a program on HBO that showed news that wasn’t really news worthy, and was completely bias and had tidbits of skits and nonsense.

Glad to see BGR has picked it back up again, can’t wait to see the new series.

  • blah

    Thanks @BG,

I’m a dev, and I appreciated the heads up… The SDK is 2.3gig… gonna be a long night recompiling my apps for the final submission (deadline is Wed. 5PM PST). You guys gonna do an iPad version of BGR?

  • JFone

Lets take a second and realize, had it not been for Apples innovation and product marketing that these conversations would be years away.

The iphone completely revolutionized the market to the point that far and wide market share leaders and just now catching the dust that apple leaves in it’s place.

With one product over a short period of time they were able to what the other stratified OSs couldn’t do. Hundreds of thousands of app. billions if revenue, a total untapped market niche.

So when everyone tries to “be like mike” apple continues to raise the bar. In homage to the man of Jobs (no pun intended) please inundate me with every press release and news related topic you have BGR.

    • StevenGlansburg

True that. People seem to forget that Android would not exist unless the iphone came along.

      • (The real Jarrett) Jarrett

Let us be clear, Android already existed as a Mobile Linux environment. Eric would get the Mobile cues Google needed from Apple. Android is Android because of Apple and iPhone OS. Those are facts and anyone suggesting otherwise hasn’t been paying attention to this Mobile space since 2003.

UPDATE: Google purchased the small startup on August 17, 2005. Their need to get into the mobile space was evident by what Apple was then slowly ramping up. So, buy an OS, sounds like another company from the ’80s doesn’t it?

Man I feel sorry for your wife. she probably dosnt get a word in.

      • Google1

The cell phone didnt exist untill moto came along.

  • Counting Apples

great stuff bgr! may not always be first, but u always report!

  • stone18

if you guys don’t like what they are reporting then stop coming to this site. i have been reading BGR for almost 4 years and from their track record, they report whats hot. yeah android is pretty f’n cool. But hate it or love it, the iPhone is whats hot. you are treating these message forums like a 13 year old in 1998 talked smack on AOL. get a life, that or find friends to complain to because your mom and dad’s obviously don’t care yet I can see why. you haven’t anything worth listening to…By the way this was written from my rooted G1 running superD’s newest ROM but I still know how apple make amazing electronics and I know that BGR is the best place to read about them,,,,
