Approved iPad apps leak on Apple site?

Blog PadGadget found some verbiage on Apple’s website that indicates which App Store apps will be available, and iPad compliant, come April 3rd. The listed apps have since been removed by Apple, but PadGad dug up the following titles:

  • Ammoin HD
  • Azkend HD
  • Flight Control HD
  • Grind HD
  • HD Recovery
  • Labyrinth 2 HD
  • NBA Hotshot HD
  • Numba HD
  • Plants vs. Zombie HD
  • Sparkle HD
  • Worms HD

This raises the obvious question: no farting noise applications on launch day? You’ll notice that the apps are appended with the “HD” tag to differentiate them from your run-of-the-mill iThing applications, and we’re fairly sure this isn’t the complete list. To be brutally honest, we’re tired of writing about the iPad… we just want to start using one… so we can pass judgment.

    So the max-iPad isn’t HD but they are calling the apps HD? What a piece of crap this thing turned out to be. Just goes to show how a company can put out shite and there are people out there dumb enough to buy it because of the companies name.

        I’m usually open to other devices regardless of brand, but when you’re king of the hill like what Apple has done, there is always the need to find any kind of negatives to compensate for being jealous. It would be same even if the situations were reversed.

    We all know the NO MATTER WHAT – The iPad is going to get a shitty review from BGR, Engadget and Giz… Mainly because this thing isn’t made for us techy types that need everything…

    Plus- this way Apple can add a camera in v2 and sell you two ipads.

    All games – you’d think Apple would do something to try to dispell the belief that the ipad, iphone and ipod are just toys, but nope – all the new apps are games.

    Goes to show you – if you are planning to use your device for business in part or in whole, stick to Blackberry or Android
