Android isn’t fragmented. It’s a theory that could potentially play out in the future.

What is worse: a theoretical chance of minor fragmentation years into the future, or the most locked-down mp3 player in the world with a poorly designed phone function embedded with a reputation for the industry’s worst reception, a completely locked down interface, no video conferencing, no bluetooth tethering, one of the lowest resolutions of an all-touchscreen “smartphone”, no native outlook or navigation support, no possibility for Flash support, a non-removable battery, no expandable memory, no support for third-party applications and a plethora of other shortcomings? And let’s not forget, if you’re willing to void your warranty to get around this, you’ll have the least secure “smartphone” OS out there that actually gets viruses.

In your hypocrisy, you called out Android fanboys for invoking ‘Droid’, yet why is it always Apple fanboys that bash Android when something positive is said about it? Why aren’t Blackberry fanboys doing it? Why not WinMo fanboys? Probably because the average iPhone user has an average age (and intellect) of 17. Or Apple users are just that insecure.

That’s because Bill Gates is actually a good guy. He’s one of the most – if not the most – charitable people in the world. I can’t ever remember him melting down in public.

Conversely, I can’t ever remember Steve Jobs doing anything positive in the public eye. Unless you’re a lawyer and consider lawsuits positive as they’re good for business.

Bill Gates has helped people all over the world, schools, childrens hospitals, food for starving people, its endless.When steve had his surgey, he had his own instruments made by some kids in singapore and stamped Apple on them so he could say he invented them.(even though they had been used by surgeons for many years)He stayed awake and had a spinal, not because he was tuff but so he could tell the doctors what they could and couldnt do with his patented insruments. He also told them if they used one single 3rd party insturment he would sue. After the surgery the nunns stopped by his room and asked if would would be willing to help with a new wing. He said sure, you can use my name, but its going to cost you a monthly fee.

Nokia would win. Apple could not continue to hold the patent if they were forced out of the phone market, and were not using the patent for a phone. Nokia would then have the right to use the patented technology or method, and so would other companies. I think.

do you have a mp3 player? no, I have a ipod
do you have a computer? no, I have a Mac
The correct answer to all of these are yes. I’m all about apple taking a blow, you get its leader and maybe its followers will stop talking to me like that.

I actually owned a 30gig ipod video in 06. After using it for 5 months I sold it and bought a 30gig Creative labs Zen and never looked back. I studied graphics art design in college for 4 years and used a mac for all in class projects. During my freshman year and now, I’ve owned 3 windows computers. Why is any of this important? some call it choosing the lesser of two evils, I call it preference. Do I like vista? absolutely not, I personally think it sucks but I’d much rather use vista than a Mac. (yay for me I know) In my lifetime Nintendo has outlasted every system from when I was child i.e growing up with it. Do I own a wii? no. why? because I found a system that better suits MY needs (which is playstation). People have grown up using apple, that fine, but don’t talk as if it was predetermined to suit the needs of everyone on the planet.

There is my juvenile, ignorant, misinformed two cents.
