T-Mobile 21Mbps HSPA+ service launching March 14th?

Rumor

tmo-fast-web

TmoNews is reporting that come March 14th, T-Mobile will be launching its much-awaited HSPA+ service in a few more markets. These are rumored to include Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, and presumably Philadelphia while supporting the launch of a new 3G data device as well — the webConnect Rocket. Additionally, it looks like T-Mobile has finally started to overhaul their hideous cellular coverage maps by adding more zoom layers, population guides, and additional color coding for different network technologies (like the new HSPA+ service). Anyone excited to get their mobile 21Mbps on?

While its certainly a free country and everyone is entitled to their opinions, I find the fact that ALL comments that display even the slightest negative opinion of T-Mobile is “disliked” out of view. If you’re a T-Mo fan, that’s fine but mileage varies for everyone and your stellar performance is non-existent in many other areas. Perhaps some people in those areas need to know those negative statements about T-Mo in order to allow them an opportunity at an educated purchase instead of buy an expensive brick.

Seems promising. I had Tmobile since it was Omnipoint in the US. Yes, its coverage has been dwarfed by Cingular/ATT who once shared its lines, but this is why their rates are significantly lower than the larger carriers. (Verzion, ATT, Sprint). Pound for pound, you still get more for your $$$ with Tmobile, and the service coverage will get better

It is now the 19th, and not a mention of anything here in the Los Angeles area. Data is just as slow as ever.
