HTC HD2, Motorola CLIQ XT, and Dell Mini 10 launch dates for T-Mobile surface

Breaking

TMo_DellM10_HD2_Launch

One of our ninjas just dropped some tantalizing and blurry details for us to feast on. We’ve been informed that T-Mobile will be releasing the Motorola CLIQ XT on March 10th, the HTC HD2 (listed as “Dark Handset” on the screen capture) is confirmed on March 24th, and a Dell Inspiron Mini 10 netbook, complete with T-Mobile broadband access, on the 24th as well. Our connect also mentions the launch of Even More 1.5, but no details were given. Looks like it is going to be a pretty busy month for the number four carrier in the U.S. Hit the break for one more shot!

Thanks, Taliban!

Nice! Would love to get the hd2, but there’ll be no upgrade to wm7!

    • bob

if you can call that an upgrade.. kind of more like a ticket to uglyland

      • Paul

Yeah, wondering also, why all the odd talk. I see WM7 as a more like kiddies phone like iPhone. WM6.xxx is more for people who are seeking for business stuff.
Tho, don’t own WM phone and think I never will.

Oh wow, I can’t wait to get my hands on the HD2. I like legacy WinMo better than anything I’ve seen on Windows 7 so far.

      IE! Lol

Wonder if the guys over at XDA can port Android to the HD2?

  • JM

This could be really good for T-Mobile. The HD2 is a stunner. They have needed a notebook badly as well. I just hope that they can support these devices properly. Working for the company has given the impression that things might get…interesting. More advanced devices with some of their CSRs is not a good mix.

what are you afraid of, munchman? the truth?

update: for those keeping score at home: spammers – 89 boy genius – 0

that’s the total since bg declared — 17 days ago — that “all of those [spam] comments have been deleted” here: http://www.bgr.com/2010/02/12/google-adds-requested-privacy-features-to-buzz/comment-page-2/#comment-774106 … though each and every one of those spam posts brought to his attention at that time still remain.

thus making a liar of himself — and a fool of munchbach (yes, munchback, silent support of those who divert traffic away from bgr is being sanctioned here) — who tried in vain to defend the sanctity of how boy genius treats the comments area!

aren’t the 300 unique visits to bgr per day enough to keep the lights on? we all know the economy is in the tank, but that’s no excuse for insulting our intelligence. is it, genius?

which are you? part of the problem or part of the solution?

Forget the idiotic “Readers Aren’t Fooled” fellow. He’s a fool himself BG.

Anyway, I’ve seen and have had my own strange connects’ names, but this time they told you to ball them “Taliban”?

    Actually, I’m ROFL.

  • http://laptopmemo.com Stefan Etienne

    *typo: call them “Taliban”.

Now that I’m back on T-mobile I’m debating what my second phone should be… I’ve grown tired of the iphone (seriously, sick of jailbreaking and slow EDGE) and am leaning towards the Nexus One or maaaaaybe the HD2…. I have the Bold 9700 and love it, but I miss totting around a media phone at times. Since T-mobile decided to start getting sweet phones I’m baffled at the moment.

here is the pricing for the HD2 thanks to tmonews: http://www.tmonews.com/2010/03/htc-hd2-nuron-and-cliq-xt-pricing-cometh/

also they reported on the same thing about the 24th release date here earlier today: http://www.tmonews.com/2010/03/more-launch-news-for-the-dell-mini-10-webconnect-rocket/

  • Sean76

Seriously! The HD2 is kind of old news in the mobile world…. And after the Nexus one launch with all the 3G problems, I don’t see this as being really big news

I really don’t like that WM is being abondoned. With the latest 6.5.x releases it seems like it has finally gotten the finger-friendly UI refresh it needed. People have spent so much time bashing it that they are ignoring the strengths of the OS.

It is the best for Exchange and Outlook syncing. It INCLUDES and Office suite. It is quite reliable…as much as my BlackBerry phones have been. It is extremely adaptable. The PIM suite is the best on any smartphone platform as it displays information in a way that is always useful…without excessive scrolling. There is a whole lot to be lost by letting this OS die and I am not sure that there is enough of a reason. Call the new Windows Phone 7 Series the Zune phone and keep Windows Mobile as the real smartphone operating system.

Remember Project Dark was about “Even More” plans. Now we have mention of “Even More 1.5″ and a phone called “Dark Phone”? Hmmmm

  • Matt

Too bad this awesome phone is coming out for the only network in my area who’s coverage sucks!

How can T-Mobile expect the Cliq XT to sell well when they don’t advertise or even formally announced a release date ahead of time?

  • CoreO

Fyi (for those who don’t already know): “Even More 1.5″ is a special smartphone plan (T-Mobile) for the Hearing Impaired customers. Other carriers need to follow suit. What “Even More 1.5″ means is that if you’re a deaf person you’re not required to add the “Voice Plan” to your smartphone package (of course you have to supply proof of being hearing impaired). GOD BLESS.

  • Sam

it’s march 13th and the cliq xt is still not out.

  • ryan

    who cares cliq xt sucks
