I hope this brings IMAP folder functionality to email accounts. I’d love to be able to see my subfolders, sent folders, etc.

    • gquaglia

      It does not.

The two way sync for Gmail is big. I wish I had that when I had a blackberry.

  • Eric C

Finally some openoffice love. By the way I have both the iPhone and my blackberry and i would never ever trust important emails being pushed or whatever magical trip it takes to my iPhone. BIS Is always the email I give out and only one I will ever trust.

  • Slopeyed Chink

Way to steal engadget’s image. I’m surprised no one else noticed?

  • STFU

The date actaully mean anything though?

Doesn’t each carrier have to upgrade its system to 3.0 before we can get it.

  • Rang3r

My boy, between the two of us
We’ll get you on that shorty bus
And then we’re gonna take it for a whirl
    Now go impress that super-thrilling
    Wish-fulfilling, Yoohoo spilling
    Ultra-swinging, boner-bringing
    Gaily singing, dingalinging
    Stupefying, fortifying
    As of Monday, shoelace tying
    Stimulating, titillating
    Kitty-cat impersonating
    Mega-rocking, pillow-talking
    Just a little crooked walking
    Coyly pouting, booby-sprouting
    For some reason always shouting
    Fascinating, captivating
    Happiness and joy creating
    DOWN’S SYNDROME GIRL!!!!

  • Geez

That’s SHOWING your TALENTING skills! TYPING while THINKING. Idiot.

  • chingy

a bunch of iphone fags, you’re holding a piece of crap for kids. if you’re so easily amused at gay apps and like having your content (music/ video) locked down, then by all means. just keep your mouths shut, you sound like a bunch of religious finatics talkin bout your god. you’re whack, you’re phone sucks, you’re just too retarded to notice. black berry has lead the way in the mobile inovations for a long f’in time.

The BB BIS 3.0 Gmail sync has been launched! I am using it on a T-Mobile Bold 9700 works great, not as seamless as on my MyTouch or Moto Droid but for a BB its good.

  • aedk

this is huge news. I currently use the gmail app which does not support attachments or documents to go. i cant use blackberry mail because it wont delete emails i delete online. thus, the features of blackberry mail with the advantage of gmail…everything ive been wanting for bb email.

  • Christopher Cox

So, two was sync with gmail? Have we now caught up with iPhone? Does it sync all of your folders like we have been able to for a while now? Will it push sync your google contacts and calendars too? Blackberry has fallen behind. It’s email client feels dated and so does it’s OS. But … Then again it’s cool because lots of people like retro.

  • Christopher Cox

@Eric C: Oh? Why is it the only one you trust? I mean … Can you really give me a good answer to that outside of “I read it on the Internet” or “that’s what I was told?” I have had BB for a long time and all I got was frustration when BIS went down from time to time. And don’t tell me it doesn’t. Everyone knows it does. When it does we all look at the outage reports and prepare to do a battery pull after a while to get it back. Does that sound reliable to you? I guess it does because someone told you it was huh?

  • Christopher Cox

@Chingy: Blackberry 1990s style OS and lack of innovation for a long time now tells me they have stopped leading the way a long time ago. Every release has been the same exact phone slightly refreshed for a long time now. Even their new major OS in decades was a few features and a black theme. I want you to tell me exactly what they have been leading with iPhone number two and catching up. They don’t have the same growth rate as the other guys especially ANDROID … Which is growing like the carpet on your moms back.
