There comes a time in every smartphones life when, after a long and illustrious career in which it has accomplished many things, it just wants to take a step back from the hustle and bustle of daily life and bow out gracefully. According to T-Mobile, the latest to do so is the BlackBerry Curve 8900 as T-Mobile which is now residing in a retirement community in Florida having reached the “end of its life cycle”. It remains to be seen whether its son, the Curve 8520, will take up the family business, but rumor has it that its grandson is just about to come of age and make a splash.

Just in numbers alone, 8900 > 8520. higher the number the better.. id hate to see this down the line..
BlackBerry SuperBold 12,389 will be replacing the Blackberry KindaBold 11,091 in Q4 of 2020. Its got the new Toaster Oven feature so it can send microwaves of heat from this back sensor and toast your breakfast.. You laugh but its coming out…

Um, T-Mobile didn’t kill the phone; RIM made it obsolete with the 9700.

Not True in the least. ATT is still carrying it. Cincinnati Bell is still carrying along with countless other vendors out there. t-mobile just decided to drop it, thats all…. and just an FYI i’ve see 9500/9530 firmwares released after the 9550/9520 devices were released…. saying RIM disowned it… simply not true.

Tmobile sucks. Went through 8 of these horrible bb’s. So crappy service and crappy hardware, yep that’s the gist of tmobile.

I’ll have to admit your right about crappy hardware. I’ve been thru 5 BB’s myself. But… that’s not T-Mobile’s fault. Why don’t you bash every other company, they have BB’s as well and crappy service in there own way. Besides, Tmo’s customer service is wonderful. I love the fact that I can actually understand the person that I am speaking to. When I had VW… all I got from cusomer service was was an Indian that learned English yesterday or Yolanda smackin her gum in my ear while axking me “wuch yu wont me to do bout it” or ” you musa gotcho batrey wet!”
Yes, good coverage is one of the seven wonders of the world…but, when I just have a question about my account, Articulation is a gift from God.
