Apple's upcoming tablet spotted on the Internet?

Rumor

Apple_Tablet_Testing_AppUsage

According to mobile applications analytics firm Flurry, the Apple tablet is alive and kicking in the halls of Apple’s Cupertino campus. The analytics firm has supposedly detected the presence of an estimated fifty Apple tablets, first detected last October, whose location can be traced back to Cupertino. The tablet, whose usage has spiked in recent weeks, is reportedly testing over 200 different applications, the bulk of which are games, entertainment, news, books, and lifestyle applications. Now, for a reality check, we personally couldnt imagine a possible tablet running anything other than OS 4.0. So whether this is just a new iPhone in testing, sonething else, or even a way to throw people off track, we don’t know. We do have a barrage of potential names, and a handful of potential content partners though, so we’ll just have to wait until Wednesday for Apple to make this device official.

I hope they do announce the tablet, I’m getting sick of retarded fanboiz saying that nothing that exists is greater than the apple tablet (that doesn’t exist.) At least they’ll have a physical object to worship now instead of just a bunch of rumors.

I really have no use for ANY tablet… having said that:

The only thing I can appreciate about Apple is, they keep pushing the envelope and forcing the other companies to improve their products i.e. Android, Palm, Windows, Rim, Chrome, etc.

The fact of the matter is though, I don’t like the “bottle environment” Apple keeps you in. I had the iphone 3g, nice phone.. BUT in Pittsburgh and NYC, (where I need it the most) it was pure fail… dropped calls.

one think I can say for sure if this tablet not coming with the option of batery replacement I don’t care what it is I will not spand that amount of mony for tablet.
I still have my 1st generation I phone in mint condition and use it as an ipod.
when the batery will die. our sity garbage will get it.

  • fred

Apple already has a tablet! Does anyone remember the newton? I used to have one.

  • BDW

It’s simple math, with the nexus one and tour 2 being available on Verizon soon, all thats left is for them to get is the new iPhone. If this happens signing your life away with Verizon may be a no brainer . Think about it, what other phone could you possibly want they have pretty much everything. Not to mention the best service available in most areas.

  • Bustafone

    I don’t care!

Like, uh, good day, eh? (I’m trying to impress y’all with my Canadian sophistication. Did I succeed? Whaddaya mean “No”?) North of the border, Rogers Wireless lost THEIR monopoly on the iPhone. Now both Bell & Telus also offer it. Do any of you techno-wizards have a speculation as to whether or not the iTablet will spawn similar competitive Canadian coverage?

  • Craig

Fred – wasn’t the Newton manufactured by Sharp? I know the iPhone is comprised of many component makers – but ultimately is “Apple”.

OS 4.0? How did that work out for you?
