I wonder what’s new in 3.0, I’m hoping that they make a lot more improvements. 2.0 wasn’t much different than 1.5 an 1.6, but maybe 3.0 will be.

Well, fake or not it bodes well for Vz says I. Tmob is getting the HD2 in all it’s Winmo glory (lol) and with this coming to Sprint then Vz isn’t far behind. Loving the anticipation.

You can tell it’s fake because of the Notification Bars rounded top right and top left edges. Only comes with modded ROMs.

All my sources, both the good and “iffy”, have said the same thing: Supersonic is going to Sprint.

3.0 is currently not running on any phone! they cant even get 2.1 running right yet.

This site posts so many false information when it comes to android… a few months back posted that dumb ass picture of a sense like widget that was an app for jail broken iphones… and BGR tried to say it was the passion screenshot.. the same passion that became the nexus and has yet to see Verizon after he said it would be on Verizon first. I know not to rely on this site for anything android.

Back to the subject….This is clearly a cyanogen screenshot… you can tell by the rounded edges at the top of the screen. BGR needs to learn a little more about android instead of ranting and bashing when he clearly has not spent enough time with the OS.
BGR learn your stuff so that people don’t take you for the ride! SUCKER!

I call shenanigans on this one. That is a modded rom. Look at the rounding at the top. Only cyanogens roms are like that. No other software that i am aware of ever done that. Would only be a few quick software changes in the rom and I can make my g1 look exactly the same. The baseband version is not shown nor build at the bottom. And if you were intentially trying to show it why would you hide other info with notification tray too. Until there is a pic of the phone and something that is in software that is actually new i call shenanigans. I am very happy with my nexus one and thanks to cyanogen I now have multi touch browser and no my phone is not rooted.

Maybe it’s just me but where does it say android 3.0 it says firmware 3.0 that could mean HTC sense UI 3.0 or HTC sense version of 2.0 or 2.1 build 3

Secondly there is nothing that says android 3.0 as to be more or less hardware intense than previous versions like snow leopard they can actually make it less hardware intense than before and have a better product at the same time.

Perhaps the rewrite the android code in a different language or using a different style, maybe flash 10 allows them to remove other code maybe it’s a higher compression ratio.

Maybe since google os is cloud ware and all android phones are getting data contracts maybe more apps and processes will run online instead.
