Just an FYI folks, those of you looking to upgrade your bb’s, hit up the nearest walmart………they do tmobile upgrades and my husband saved 100$ by getting the 8520 at walmart for 30$ instead of the tmobile store (where it’s currently prices at 80$ but was 130$ when he did the upgrade).

This comes as no surprise to me. T-Mobile has to have lower prices if it wants to compete with the other three leaders. Plan prices are already low. The area they could cut prices was equipment cost.

I’ve been a TMO customer for over a decade and it wasn’t until recently that I started feeling that their service was slipping. 1. Customer Service has degraded drastically, when I got my Curve, I was quoted 3 different deals by 3 different reps. I wanted a deal for being a long time customer and ended up writing a letter to the TMO’s VP of customer service to address the run around. 2. Lack of 3G- it wasn’t until late 2009 that TMO had a viable 3G service, even now- is it working? Compared to its competitors TMO is last in terms of deployment. Sprint has 3G/LTE services already up and running and if you read BGR regularly you will know that independant test regarding 3G network speeds in many cases don’t even mention TMO. 3. Handset selection, until 2010 was dismal. Finally 4. Spotty service in buildings. This is only a recent thing- but Im in and out of buildings all the time and TMO’s has spotty service, meanwhile ATT/VZE is full strength. These are just my personal complaints about TMO as I mentioned I’ve been a customer for over 10 years (Omnipoint> Voicestream> TMO) and around late 2007, early 2008 TMO started going to shit.

Nice drop in phone prices. Doesn’t do any good when you have the services, coverage, and customer service of Verizon.

I’m not waving any banners, you neurotic curmugeon. Infer what you will, I NEVER mentioned one carrier’s name. All you “know” is the little voice in your head keeps telling you how omniscient you are. And you obviously can’t listen to it enough, KID.

  • la verdad

Really? I’m dying to know what carrier Miguel Narcistista claims I’m married to – as is the rest of the thinking world, I’m sure. Suck it, and take your pills (though not necessarily in that order).

  • la verdad

On a seperate note, the roll of “Word of the Day” toilet paper Moms got you for Christmas has obviously run out. You’re getting ridiculously repetitive…. Time to re-up.

  • la verdad

Thanks for making my day – it was really gonna suck, but at least I got this to make me smile. And laugh.
