Boost BlackBerry 8330

For those of you who love CDMA and fear contracts, we have some good news for you. A new connect has come through with some details on three new handsets to be offered by U.S. prepaid provider Boost Mobile. Our source indicates that starting January 13, Boost will be offering the BlackBerry 8330 for $249 and will pair it with an unlimited talk, text and web plan for $70/month. The Sanyo Incognito will be offered for $149 and the Sanyo Mirro for $99, both with unlimited talk, text and web for $50/month. We’ve got the additional screen captures queued up for you after the break. So the only question left is, any Boost Mobile fans out there and anyone itching to grab a BlackBerry 8330?

Does the Mirro have 3-way capability? Does BoostMobile even support 3-way calling?

I know for a fact the Incognito does. And Im on Boost so that means Boost does too. My question is how to tether it??? Other than that 9h043 15 5w33t

I just got the Sanyo at Walmart, and the 50 dollar plan, and while I am VERY happy with the plan, the Boost customer service line is a real pain, good luck getting a live rep! IF u do get a live rep, 1rst thing u should say 2 them is *please call me back, if we get disconnected* as I have experienced repeated episodes of being cut off when talking 2 customer service reps! The only menu option that will get u a live rep is *troubleshooting*, and u have 2 wait pass on the other options, before that is offered. The Mirro browser is not 2 great, download Opera Mini, it works a lot better! If I had it 2 do over again, I would spend a little more, and go with the Incognito instead, which has full video capabilities and a full QUARTY kexboard. That way u get the best use out of your unlimited text and web! I also have had a lot of issues with getting the battery compartment 2 open. It does NOT open with your fingernail, as stated! Other than that, seems 2 be a pretty good phone and the unlimited plan is SWEET!

No matter what, any network loss is a loss to us all. Do we really want AT&T and Verizon the two last standing? They are already raping us for simple kb’s of text.

I don’t get the anti-sprint talk… it must be some kind of Verizon talking points that you have to read each day to be a Verizon employee at the call center… isn’t that right LaToya?

I got Sprint because someone convinced me to get on their SERO program. At first it seemed fantastic but when I needed support it wasn’t there. Billing inaccuracies galore.

Every time I went into a Sprint store I felt embarrassed like I was in some public assistance welfare line. The clientele was comprised of all the “freaks that come out at night,” trying to pay their phone bills with cash.

That’s why I ported to T-Mobile They actually have great 3G coverage and cool phones here in my part of Louisiana whereas Sprint is stuck on 1xRTT in my town.

So true because with all their outrageous charges they should lose them all and with Boost Mobile hopefully one day they will either stop ripping ppl off or just GO AWAY. (my first months’ bill was 1500 dollars w/sprint, I pay 636/yr w/boost.
