Luke Wilson gives the AT&T crew a little morale booster

News

Life has got to be rough right now for AT&T employees. Thankfully, Luke Wilson has stepped up to the plate and recorded an internal memo for the folks at AT&T who might be struggling to get through the daily grind. After all, they have to deal with us as angry customers and it’s not their fault that the network is sub-par in some areas. Just like most of the characters he plays in movies, his tone in the message has that “you-can-trust-this-guy” ring to it. Hopefully AT&T employees can feel a little more confident now and leave work at the end of every day with a little spring in their step. Hit the read link to hear an audio file of the memo!

iDon’t need someone to tell to trust at

  • VERZION.

    This isnt news.

    • WowReally

What is Verizon? The fact you all fired ALL the Alltell people after you bought them? Or you have increased ETF to 350.00 (i asusme you DROID lovers know that? I mean Verizon knows you will just lover the phone right, that is why they double the ETF.. LOL)

Or that you barely have any Smartphone on your network and that is why people perceive you to have a good network? OR that the new GOOGLE phone is GSM and it isn’t build for your outdated CDMA technology?

Any of that news .. to anyone? or should i say Can you hear me now?

      • Dio

Good thing I got my Droid before that new ETF was put into action.

And I can hear you too, because Verizon has coverage in this area where AT&T and others don’t.
        Especially 3G.
Which like myself, is a deciding factor on which service provider to choose. I see iPhones for sale A LOT around here, lack of coverage makes it useless as a phone.

I really don’t care one way or the other, I just want to pose a simple question. Does any non iphone user experiance dropped calls with att? Let the world know.

  • pimpin

dude at&t ain’t listening to anyone except where there’s media force behind the consumer….they picked new york and san fran to be their “problem areas” hey de la vega, how bout a place called dallas where ur headquarters are…i bet when ur driving down 75 u prolly drop atleast 7 calls in a 5 mile span from ur office to interstate 635…and thats on the good side of town….how bout in irving tx where the bars go from 1 to 4 to 0 to 1 all while sitting in the same spot…now granted my bold 9700 is way betta than my iphone but damn ppl can get we a working network before everyone compares you to the 5 yr old sprint…

  • peterrabbit

De la Vega prolly carries a T-Mobile phone when he wants one that works. Muhahahahahahah

    • codyyyy

yea or when he wants to look like he could be poor and cant afford real service

  • Mrwirez

He is a SMARMY bastard… Watch his commercials pitching pictures like he knows wtf he is talking about.. Could AT not afford the more recognizable and relevant Owen brother?

    SMARMY:
    Pronunciation: ˈsmär-mē
    Function: adjective

    Etymology: smarm to gush, slobber
1 : revealing or marked by a smug, ingratiating, or false earnestness <a tone of smarmy self-satisfaction

2 : of low sleazy taste or quality

    3 : arrogant pole smoker*

    PS Merry Christmas… lol

lol. Luke Wilson greeting Americans on the spirit of Christmas and New Year Care-off the power of AT&T? I just wonder, why Mr, Wilson made this just on an audio freq? I miss his headless face on the last commercial he made to poke Red V, sadly in vain again: http://bit.ly/luke-wilson-headless-ads-worst

  • Ridiculous

    Lame!

  • joey

First. You pay an actor to say somthing he will say what you tell him. Can we trust Luke? Nope. iDon’t have anymore drop calls on my iPhone because I have stopped using it for voice services. Now I just wifi at Starbuck’s. My REAL phone is now the Moto Droid. Thanks Big Red.
