We just received word from our friends at Beejive that their brand new version of BeejiveIM for BlackBerry handsets launches today, and is even on sale until the end of the year at only $9.99/$14.95 (single license or transferable license). Obviously our favorite IM client for the BlackBerry (and even iPhone), version 2.0 has some pretty amazing features in it:

  • Send voice notes
  • Send GPS location to buddies
  • New chat styles and background images
  • New buddy list layouts
  • Refreshed UI design
  • Improved battery life
  • Facebook IM support

You can get a free 30 day trial of BeejiveIM for BlackBerry, and if instant messaging isn’t your thing, there’s always Twitter

I paid $30 for a user license almost 3 years ago, and it’s been well worth it! At this discounted price, BeejiveIM is a steal!

And it’s even better on the Blackberry!!

Beejive is hands down the best multiplatform IM service. I always gawked at how high the price was in comparison to the iPhone app. But with the 50% off sale there is really nothing to complain about and people had better take advantage of this. I have been running a beta version of 2.0 for about 3 weeks and must say that it’s a definite improvement over the the 1.9.7 version I was running previously. Highly recommended!!

im curious, why is it an IM program u have to pay for so popular

    • Larry Love

Because it’s the best app available. If you have a Blackberry download a trial version of IM+ ,Nimbuzz, and Parlingo, which are free and use them for a couple of days. Then download a trial of Beejive and the mystery will be solved for you.

It really is a shame that they stopped development on windows mobile. That was by far the best IM client to ever grace WM and probably ever will.
