AT&T and Verizon to play nice, agree to stop suing each other

Breaking

Luke Wilson Verizon Guy

Verizon struck a nerve with AT&T when they launched their “There’s a Map for That” ad campaign last month, a campaign that called into question the level of 3G service provided by the number two wireless company in the States. AT&T’s feelings were so hurt that it filed a lawsuit against Big Red, alleging that the claims made about its network were misleading and false. After a judge denied AT&T’s case, Ma’ Bell decided fire back with its own add campaign, staring fat Luke Wilson. AT&T’s advertisements emphasized how whimsical and majestic their network actually is — hell, even Apple threw their hat in the ring boasting of the iPhone/AT&T’s ability to use 3G voice and data channels simultaneously. Well friends, today AT&T and Verizon finally agree on something… they are going to stop suing each other. The Business Insider is reporting that the two companies have agreed to cease and desist with further lawsuits surround the “Map for That.” We have to be honest, we’re a little disappointed. We were hoping this advertising madness will would last all the way up to the Superbowl and make for some killer commercials.

I think it would be great to see Owen Wilson doing a Verizon Wireless commerical to upstage his brother and the AT&T network.

AT&T finally raised their white-flag over verizon. but why? could it be the revealation
that there was a lawsuit filed on July, 2009 and AT&T was the biggest loser?…

Something tells me others will miss the ads specially the “corny” humor of Mr. Luke Wilson

AT&T raised the whiteflag to Verizon, why? http://bit.ly/verizon-vs-att-its-over-att-wave-white-flag

What a shame, as usual, much to do about nothing,
they failed to follow it up with any real action, wasted millions of dollars on hollow statements and legal treats, without proving any point, as usual they were simply too spineless to actually stand their ground.

Egoistic CEO’s acting just like children, what else is new, maybe they should learn to instead act as two of the 21st Century’s Telecom giants, with some level and sense of social responsibility !!

    Thank You

Hey Munchbach, how about proofreading before you post?

    “add” instead of “ad”

    “staring” instead of “starring”

    “further lawsuits surround”…ing?

    “will would last”

At least you got “its” right!

Umm unless you like doing things like call and text or use data at 3g speeds outside a metropolitan area…
