Ultra-blurry photo rumored to be Motorola Motus

Rumor

If there was ever a contest for blurriest photos taken post-haste, this image of a Motorola CLIQ look-alike, rumored to be called Motus, takes the cake. There isn’t much to be said or gathered about the Motus so far, except that it looks like a CLIQ with a flat keyboard and no D-pad for navigation. Said to be coming out in Q1 2010, rumors also peg this device as packing Android 1.6 and a 5 megapixel camera, so it’s not as if anything terribly special is going on. Unfortunately, the image is far too blurry to really make out the left side of the keyboard and what the bright yellow spot is. Maybe image stabilization should be standard on camera phones now.

Thanks, Vitala!

not an apple fanboy but this is actually wat i thought would be the design of a new iphone with physical qwerty keyboard lol

There IS a D-Pad you BGenius bafoons.

Left, Center, and Right directionals are in line & to the right of the letter M. Down is just 2 keys left of the very bottom right corner, right next to the ALT key.

Up is the right of the letter L key.
Just case the keypad is flat does NOT mean there is no D-Pad. Remember the Razr’s had a flat D-Pad, same styling queue here.

Motorola Motus is really cool phone. I agree with this article. Just case the keypad is flat does NOT mean there is no D-Pad.

    The iPhone with a keyboard.

I wanna see the Sholes Tablet

  • oooooo

    Maybe there’s a reason you don’t see a dpad.

Actually, this thing is a clamshell, and it flips opposite, leaving the screen exposed on top and the keyboard exposed on the bottom of the device, when it is shut. I have held one of these in my hand. It run android, and is the stupidest design I have EVER seen. Mark my post ;)

Seems pretty clever to me. You get the benefits of the clamshell QWERTY without the added bulk of having two screens in it.

I admit I’ll have to see more pictures or hold one myself in the end.

I would say that yellow light is the android ball. The keyboard is nearly identical to my droid and the buttons are all the same as well. Maybe because my droid is made by motorola. all the buttons are very similar.
