DROID-day

Alright, fellas. It has been one heck of a journey, but today, the Motorola DROID and HTC DROID Eris are finally on sale to the general public. From what we’re hearing, stock levels are insanely high so it doesn’t look like many people that want one will miss the opportunity to take one home. If you’re in line, or at the store, or already snatched one and have made the trip home, shoot us in some photos in the comments and let us know how you’re liking the new Android lineup on Verizon, ok?

all you walmart haters would be on this phone like white on rice if it was cheaper there. don’t tell me you wouldn’t. if you say no, you are a liar and a fag.

It is cheaper there, by why not just go to Lets Talk directly? Thats who they do it through. That way you can avoid Walsuck.

Wow, What is up with the comments on theses sites? BGR, Engadget and Gizmodo all seem to be attracting the most lowlife comments I’ve seen since Youtube. What’s up with that?

    • Vince

Amen, brother. I love BGR for its industry intel, but this “my phone/carrier/OS can beat up your father’s” noise gets tired fast.

Just got one, and love it. Coming from Pocket PC xv6500 I believe was the model. Couldn’t have gotten here faster. Only thing is my Yahoo e-mail does’t sync. I think , but for extra charge you can get it. Google input is awesome. Their finger print is all over this masterpiece. Nice job Google, and thanks Verizon for such a fine product and service. Dave
