Mercedes 2010 E-Class: video walkthrough

General

mbvideo

A lot of people loved our tech-focused segment on the all-new 2010 Mercedes E-Class and we’re following up with a nice video overview of the vehicle. We were lucky enough to meet with Bart Herring who is product manager for the E-Class series, and in addition to giving us a great presentation on the car, took some time to help put this video together.

This is starting to get REALLY old BG. I come here for smartphone information. I don’t give a rats ass about any damned automobiles…

If you wanna do a car blog, go start a different one. If you keep whoring out your advertisers with posts about stuff that flat out doesn’t belong here, I’m gone.

Hey Jarmer, no one cares, leave loser. Don’t tell the man how to run his site. Go jump off a bridge somewhere!

I don’t mind articles about telematics and cars at all. But the MB E class is hardly anything to write home about technically. No touchsreen? Some stupid knob that controls it?

Quite honestly, a Ford Focus with SYNC is a more advanaced electronics platform than this yawner. MB needs to learn the game has changed. They act they they are competing with lexus of yesterday.

It’s pretty embarrassing when a ford focus outdoes a high end MB in electronics.

Wow you guys are complaining way too much. I don’t know where it says on this site that he can strictly only post reviews about smartphones. Nobody cares when something gets said about ipods, macs, windows 7, xbox 360, ps3, wii…none of these are smartphones! The fact is if you don’t care to read about something don’t click on it. Just scroll right by it. How hard is that? Stop complaining and let him post reviews about what he wants. It is all technology and I think it is interesting.

Yes and btw you guys are way too touchy with your post ratings. Somebody says they like the coupe better and it gets rated negative? The whole system is to get rid of inappropriate comments so you don’t have to see them, not opinions.

You’re missing the point. It’s unethical for an advertiser to supply (or even request to supply) editorial matter and it’s just as unethical to accept.

      • Jarmer

exactly my point. And BG himself can say it’s got nothing to do with them advertising here til he’s blue in the face, but the fact is that Mercedes has got the ENTIRE front page of ads all the sudden, then coincidentally BG posts two very out-of-character posts about cars on the site within days.

maybe you should pay his bills?? didn’t think so!

At least it’s a beast of a car. Love it. Keep it coming.

Mercedes rules. Their cars are legit. The naysayers should just close their browser.

    Love it. Nice work BGR

I’ve stopped buying into the idea of BGR integrity after seeing one shitbox phone after another given positively glowing reviews (and I have to wonder why).

Great site for keeping up with what’s happening, but the “objective” opinions should be taken very lightly. This probably goes for a lot of tech blogs.

Is this the change Barack Obama was talking about?

    • sb

      Yes we did.

It’s a nice car. I am waiting for my neighbours to buy one and then I am going to get the latest one with a bigger engine.

Great car, I still prefer the S-class Mercedes over any other type. :)
