Nokia files suit against Apple, claims patent infringement

A smartphone is a mobile phone offering advanced capabilities, often with PC-like functionality (PC-mobile handset convergence). There is no industry standard definition of a smartphone. For some, a smartphone is a phone that runs complete operating system software providing a standardized interface and platform for application developers. For others, a smartphone is simply a phone with advanced features like e-mail, Internet and e-book reader capabilities, and/or a built-in full keyboard or external USB keyboard and VGA connector. In other words, it is a miniature computer that has phone capability. Iphone seems like a smartphone to me! As far as Nokia goes what dont they have copyrights too. They are one of the godfathers that started it all.

Do you understand that BGR posts the links to this info so that they expect an INTELLIGENT reader to click it and read for themselves? Being around for 10 minutes or never reading some one’s post does not make them unqualified to inform you that your grammar is terrible. Also, your mobile device has a QWERTY keyboard and auto-correct – excuse denied. Secondly, Nokia is responsible for over 11,000 mobile patents alone. Almost every phone on the market pays Nokia for one of those patents. I have an iPhone and love it, however, my love for my phone does not justify Apple not paying for patents. You also made the comment that anyone who is not a lawyer should basically shut the fuck up. You’re not a lawyer and you also demonstrate very little knowledge on the legality of business-to-business relations. Therefore, shut the fuck up.

Lastly, you also clearly illustrated that you’re far too lazy to read the whole story and therefore form an informed comment about it. Therefore, shut the fuck up.
