Motorola Droid makes appearance on Motorola's site

Uh… so much for an announcement event? Or Motorola just doesn’t know what the hell is going on (most likely the reason), because the Motorola Droid makes an official appearance on Moto’s U.S. site. It just might be that we were sent this direct link which isn’t meant to be public, but… you know how that’s going to work out. In any case, the Motorola Droid, which we have torn limb from limb (check for our preview tomorrow) is indeed a bad ass mama jama, but if you don’t want to wait for our preview, hit the jump for some screenshots!

P.S. Something to note is that the browser supports HTML5 and Motorola says Flash 10 support is coming in 2010. K.

Thanks, David!

Does any one know for sure if you can tether either the Motorola or HTC Droid to a laptop for Internet like you can with a Blackberry? Verizon is giving me mixed responses.

Yes you can tether the Droid phones to a laptop. As for Wheeler’s question about the price of the Droid; the Motorola Drois is $199 with a 2yr activation and $159 for the HTC Droid Eris with a 2yr activation.

I confirmed with Verizon stores that tethering is not possible now but may be added later. Also Google is making it impossible to access Yahoo mail. No synching or manual setup capability
