Motorola DEXT to hit Orange UK in early October?

Now that the excitement of the Motorola Android event has died down and the company’s first Android offering has been unveiled, we can take our focus off of what will be released and concentrate on when it will be released. The first rumor out the door comes from merry old England where Orange UK is said to be launching the Motorola DEXT in early October. Pre-orders are expected to begin September 22nd, though no specific release date has been specified. No pricing information is available yet either, but you know Europe — with the proper tariff nearly any phone can be had for free.

    Nice looking phone….bad bad carrier….no pricing or timeframe to launch….Moto had my attention….then they quickly lost it….There will be so much coming out during the holiday season that it will be easy for the DEXT and CLIQ to get lost in the shuffle

    Motorola made a good move. It wowed the croud. Now they need to keep it up by announcing their Android verizon device.

    I agree, if Motorola does not push it sooner, it will get lost in the crowd.

    The Moto Co CEO was on with CNBC and Jim Goldman and basically gave away that another carrier is getting geared up for an announcement in a few weeks. Good money is on the Sholes getting let loose right around the time the Hero drops on Sprint. Any takers??

    Yesterday Both NyTimes and Wall Street Journal reported the declaration for another Android device is coming within the next few weeks.

    Something tells me T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint will release Cliq,Sholes and Hero around the same time. Sprint is not going to get all the Android attention they hoped for.
