Google CEO caught sporting a BlackBerry

General

Apparently the only way to stop people from continuously sending this tip in is to run it, so here we go: Eric Schmidt was caught rocking a BlackBerry. Oooooooo. Sure Google’s CEO can have his pick from the current stock of Android-powered handsets and likely from amongst a handful of unannounced devices as well. It would appear as though Schmidt knows what everyone else in the free world knows, however — if you want to get stuff done, use a BlackBerry. We imagine Schmidt has a handful of Android devices he uses as well of course, but it’s always fun to point and laugh. So people… Point and laugh.

Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

    The Warhead is right, I think, to some degree. I recently bought an e71x which I had been coveting since the days the Bold reffused to appear on American soil. You remember – BG dida Bold vs. E71 (even tho’neither device was available yet) Bold won.

    Anyhow, I got this Nokia and I swear after a couple hours with it, I was depressed. Seriously. The OS everyone trashes is so familiar, so easy to use.

    I don’t see what the big deal is either.

    Sent from my Palm Pre, iPhone, Blackberry Tour, Hero, all with Hello Kitty stickers on the back.

    Does this mean BGR is going to do a post on me too?

    If he wants to get stuff done, he uses a Blackberry?? Baawwwhaaahhaaaahahaa! You mean those pieces of crap that dont have half the useful applications of a Windows Mobile Pro phone? Everyone knows that true power users use WinMo. Blackberry users are like iPhone lemmings. They all dont know what a true power device can do. If you just want to send email, get a BB. If you want to do almost everything a PC can do, get a WinMo phone.

    @Ryan

    and now, an iPhone. I can word process, look up porn, send email, and browse the web.

    BOOYA.

    I would bet like 99% of corporate america that that his blackberry is using a BES server running Microsoft Exchange. You don’t think he is using Google Apps for everyday use to run a $ 20 billion company.

    Had a winmo phone. BlackBerry is better. In every way that I need as a businessman.

    Boy Genius can have any phone he wants and it ain’t a winmo.

  • Ben

    Clearly you’ve never used a BlackBerry before!!!!!

    Barrack Obama and any CEO of any Blue Chip company, or any company come to think of it! Don’t see any of them using Windoze Mobyle

  • Hmmmm.
