Sprint joins in on the fun, announces the BlackBerry Tour

News

BlackBerry users on Sprint have long griped that everything comes to them by the time it’s old and dated on Verizon, but this won’t be the case with the Tour 9630. Sprint has just announced that it will be carrying the device “later this summer” for $199.99 on a 2-year contract after a $50 instant rebate and $100 mail-in rebate. The pain that rebates cause in all of our rears aside, the price is good and by God the phone is, so what are you waiting for? Go and sign up to be notified when it’s available, already.

sprintcorp your dumb sprint lost all those customers them buying nextel was dumb and now their paying for it. Sprint phone sucks the pre sucks I’m actually mad about that because i loved palm. Customers report showed that verizon was the top in damn near every field and alltel was second in a few which verizon owns now. Sprint will always be second sorry the truth hurts and again if more half of your min are on roaming your phone will be terminated from what a sales rep and manager tells me and thats sad.

i live in the washington dc metro area.

    sprint coverage is great.

the plans are the cheapest and most powerful.

    and everyone has it.

now with the blackberry,no reason to switch now.

OK VZW…Isn’t this conversation about Sprint and not VZW? There are alot of us Sprint users that like our BB’s and we (not meaning to speak for everyone) can’t wait for the new Tour 9630 to be released,I can’t wait to get rid of my BB Pearl for the Tour 9630…

Just got off the phone with sprint. Rep said tour was supposed to be released last month. Now they are looking at latest mid july. And yes, I know most sprint reps don’t know. I’m just stating what I was told.
