Verizon Wireless lowers prices on LG enV3 and enV TOUCH

Retail

Early adopters may feel a bit peeved at Verizon Wireless right now. Launched only a few weeks ago, both the enV3 and the enV TOUCH have already seen a $50 online price reduction. Available originally at $129 and $149 respectively, the enV3 and the enV TOUCH can now be had for $79.99 and $99.99. Those of you who already purchased either phone can try your hand at sweet talking a Verizon rep into crediting your account for the difference. Those who have been on the fence, have at it. Best of luck!

Thanks, Jen!

What’s the Tour phone? Who makes it? Besides, this IS good news! That means after the MIR and my $100 every 2 years deal, the LG EnV Touch is free for me! My girlfriend got the phone and she LOVES it.

    What happened to the MAGNUMMMM

  • JoeTour

Yeah, but they DID hike the price of the alias 2 to $129.
Does that actually mean that the Alias is a better seller?

i loved the enV in ’07, im sure the touch version will be awesome…if u r not looking for a fancy smartphone, then is a really decent phone, but im still all eyes on the iphone, 90% of the people i know have an ‘ok’ service in northern jersey……this Tour shit is gettin annoying.

The price drop was because LG’s have rotated onto promotion. Lower LG prices, LG BOGO/BAGO. Last time was Samsungs (thus the lower Alias 2 price and samsong BOGOs). Motorola’s will probably be next. Expect some new motos to launch then. (Alias 2 for samsung time; env3, env touch for LG time, etc)

I called VZW and they were kind enough to credit my bill the $50 bucks. So thank you BGR for bringing this to my attention.

I called up verizon and since i purchased it in a store, they could not credit my account the price difference, and also said they were unsure if the store would credit me back the difference since the Touch price drop. Anyone have any ideas? ty

i love my new touch (esp the price drop). i upgraded from an alias 1 and miss the small size of it but to have a dumbphone w/ nice smartphone web functionality i am absolutely loooooving it. everything is fast and smoooth. i can not pay verizon an extra fee per month for a smartphone package unless i’m getting an iphone. :)

I had the same issue when calling Verizon customer support. They are crap saying that they can’t do anything to credit my account on top of that was told that returning the phone would incur a $35 restocking fee. Another bit o crap. I came across another Verizon store different that one that I purchased my Env Touch from and the rep there was very helpful in crediting my account.

would you be able to tell me what the number you called was? thanks
