this phone is a piece of junk!!! don’t waist your money. no mms and you have to set up a email account with cricket that’s a extra charge of 15.00 just to receive pics or videos
downfall its always turning it self off plus the keys are so small to text that you misspell words and have to start over i could go on all day what a piece of junk this phone is….

  • https://supportforums.motorola.com evoke’d it

Motorola did put up a user forum for the phone. I have to give them that. Taking some heat but probably learning a great deal. To me, it’s the service providers fault for setting up the wrong plans for this phone. Their store agents really need to learn the product they are selling.
I made them take MMS Messaging off my plan. Now I’m down to just the Internet and my plan. I’m sure as they have updates things will improve. They don’t have MMS but really why pay per message when I can accomplish everything with email???

i just bought this phone and am super lost too! i really could use some help setting stuff up. how do you make the web browser fit the format of the phone? ugh! i cant set up my email either!

  • yoozsumretards

most of the negative comments you see around the web about the evoke are from people with improperly set up phones.

    >>nikki

If your browser sucks and you can’t mms, email or watch videos, take it back and tell the cricket rep to flag EDF and phone type QA4. Also make sure you have full html purchased and assigned to the handset.

Do all of this and it’s a good phone.

I will tell you what, I am alright with any type of language variation. I understand chat lingo, dialect, accent, etc. but I cannot understand a damn thing that half of you are writing.

My problem with the evoke is that I am trying to email a picture, and it keeps emailing the pic as an attachment. The reciever is not getting it because it’s attached, not part of the email. Anyone have anything for that?
