Verizon FINALLY announces the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230

*sniff* We thought this day would never come but Verizon has officially announced the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230. Available starting June 19th, Verizon asks that you fork over $129.99 after a $70 mail-in rebate on a 2-year contract. As for the specs, you know the deal: OS 4.6.0, 324MHz processor, external display, vertical QVGA internal display, SureType keypad, 2 megapixel camera with flash, GPS, so on, so forth. Anyone excited? The Pearl Flip is just as cool as the Tour, right?

    We have a new idiot! You have no idea how Major wireless networks run. CS is going to raise prices now that they will make little to nothing on Roaming. Verizon use to roam off CS but with Alltel, Unicel and that other network in South west MS that Verizon will have, prices will change in CS. And BTW, all Verizon BlackBerrys are buy one get one free. If you knew anything about cell phones, you would know this also.

    because tmobile’s network sucks, so RIM reques all GSM us based carriers ot have wifi on the device because of crappy 3g so their customers can use even crappioer battery drinaing HORRIBLE wifi signal to use a faster connection.

    or have you not paid attention to how absolutley an abortion of technology the wifi is on the tmobile flip pearl…hell how bad it is on the bold for that matter. almost no range, and spotty luck keeping a signal

    Dunno about Verizon though. Possibly a simultaneous release???
