LG's enV Touch aka Voyager 2 gets spec'd

When we showed you some exclusive pics of the LG enV Touch aka Voyager 2 we didn’t know a whole lot about the Verizon-bound device. Don’t worry though, as some new details have now emerged thanks to a leaked Verizon Equipment Guide. The handset will sport dual WVGA touchscreen displays, a full-QWERTY keypad, stereo speakers, Bluetooth, microSDHC support and a 3.2 megapixel camera with not only auto-focus and flash but a Schneider-Kreuznach lens as well. The enV Touch will also feature a UI that is quite similar to its predecessor the Voyager in many ways, with one of the most notable improvements being the Shortcut Menu that stores up to 15 shortcuts. As for when the enV Touch will hit the shelves, it’s anyone’s guess at this point. The fact that it was left off of the latest Verizon rebate sheet that is in effect until June 4th however, probably isn’t too comforting for those who have their hopes set of landing this device ASAP.     yeah iphone is coming out with a new o.p. system!!! how long did that take them to fix all the bugs in the second one? a year you guys have waited, i feel bad for you, the Storm software update took maybe 4 months if that!!!! the Storm Beats iphone anyday, at&t’s service is shit anyways………

    oh and i just ordered this phone at 4 am on friday!!! cant wait til monday, well worth my new every 2 and 50 bucks!!! it will replace my p.o.s. 2.0 (motorola slvr). My father and step mother have the storms and haven’t had a problem since they got them 4 months ago!!! the problem occurs when too many apps run in the background and you dont take care of it…. only lack of design, 256 mb’s of app memory……. which will be fixed with the storm 2 when you can run apps off of your app mem. and sd or sdhc card!!!

    no it didn’t take a year, it took about 3 months. when they came out with 2.1 all the dropped calls ended. now, the crapberry storm came out on september of last year and that’s about 10 months ago. last week verizon pushed out a software update for the storm to fix over 100 bugs.

    Any chance we could get a firmware upgrade to the original to give it some of the new one’s UI and such?
